The New River Valley PDC’s Rural Transportation Planning Program provides technical assistance to localities in the rural, non-metropolitan areas of the Planning District. The activities of the Rural Transportation Planning Program are guided by an annual Work Program which is developed in coordination with the PDC’s Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC). The NRVPDC serves as the Policy Board for this program.
