Background:
In order to help human services, transportation and other agencies determine how to support the transportation needs to clients, former clients, and potential clients more efficiently and effectively the committee will:

Research the region’s existing transportation resources and needs
Facilitate a collaboration summit and produce a community coordination plan

Benefit:
The plan will integrate and coordinate the transportation services provided by the regions public and human service agencies.  We hope to coordinate transportation routes as to reduce the duplication of routes fun by human service agencies; reduce and eliminate deadheading; and provide the means for agencies to have their clients “rideshare” on other agency vans.  The routing system will help human service agencies serve their clients better while still maintaining control over their vehicles.
